Twenty people signed up for the first program for the year. We did 8 songs about Maui and Molokai.

January 21. Ukulele Strumming Workshop at Bailey House Museum, Wailuku.

Five people showed up for the first workshop for the year. One lady from Canada was referred by Mele's hula sister, and the rest were Maui residents.

January 21. Entertainment at Maui Business Brainstormers Party at King Kamehameha Club, Waikapu.

The Hawaiian Serenaders performed over 1-hour for 100 people, including pop and jazz tunes with a keyboardist. (Read more).

Fourteen people signed up for the second program for the year. We did 7 songs about Oahu.

February 18. Ukulele Strumming Workshop at Hale Ho'ike'ike at the Bailey House, Wailuku.

Eleven people came for the second workshop for the year. Most were new, with the youngest being a teenage brother and sister from Utah whose parents wrote a 5-star review on YELP of their experiences.

March 2. Sing-Along with Mele Fong series at Kaunoa Senior Center, Spreckelsville.

Eighteen people signed up for the third program for the year. We did 8 songs about the Big Island of Hawaii. (Read more).

April 6. Sing-Along with Mele Fong series at Kaunoa Senior Center, Spreckelsville.

Sixteen people signed up for the fourth program for the year. We did 9 songs about the island of Kauai. (Read more).

April 26. History of the 'Ukulele and Concert at Lahaina Public Library, Lahaina.

Over 50-5th graders from Kamehameha III school plus 5 adults from the community attended The Hawaiian Serenaders educational program. (Read more)

Twenty one people signed up for the fifth program for the year. We did 9 songs about flowers and leis for May Day. (Read more)

June 22. Sing-Along with Mele Fong series at Kaunoa Senior Center, Spreckelsville.

Twenty-four people (including 4 children) signed up for the sixth program for the year. We did 11 songs about small kid time. (Read more)

July 1. Story of the 'Ukulele and Concert at Lahaina Public Library, Lahaina.

Nine people including a family with children attended The Hawaiian Serenaders educational program sponsored by the University of Hawaii. (Read more)

Forty-nine people including a few young children attended The Hawaiian Serenaers educational program sponsored by the University of Hawaii. (Read more)

July 20. Sing-Along with Mele Fong series at Kaunoa Senior Center, Spreckelsville.

Twenty-one people signed up for the seventh program for the year. We did 10 patriotic songs to celebrate the 4th of July. (Read more)

August 4. Dining music for Maui Cancer Wellness Retreat at Lumeria. 

Thirty-two participants of the Retreat heard The Hawaiian Serenaders while having dinner. (Read more)

Twenty people signed up for the eighth program for the year. We did 10 Hawaiian and hapa haole songs about the Hawaiian Islands to celebrate Admissions Day. (Read more)

Twenty two people signed up for the ninth program for the year. We did 11 Hawaiian and hapa haole songs popular at island parties. (Read more)

Twenty people signed up for the tenth program for the year. We did 9 Hawaiian and hapa haole songs for the program Na Lani Eha (the four royal composers) and More. (Read more).

October 12. Serenaders Show and Ukulele Lessons at Grand Wailea.

One hundred twenty five people from Cardinal Health heard The Hawaiian Serenaders during their opening reception event and ten took a group ukulele lesson. (Read more)

October 14. Serenaders Hula Show at Queen Kaahumanu Center.

The public audience heard The Hawaiian Serenaders perform for 6 hula dancers at the Women Helping Women event. (Read more).

October 21. Ukulele Strumming Workshop at Hale Ho'ike'ike at the Bailey House, Wailuku.

Five people came to the kickoff workshop for the 2017-2018 season. (Read more).

November 2. Sing-Along with Mele Fong series at Kaunoa Senior Center, Spreckelsville.

Fourteen people signed up for the eleventh program for the year. We did 12 songs including one Hawaiian songs for the program American Classics. (Read more).

November 11. 10th Annual Maui Ukulele Guild Exhibition at Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, Kahului.

The public audience heard the Maui Ukulele Pops Band (with 10 students) and the Maui Ukulele Jazz Trio (with a new member) perform 30-minute sets. (Read more).

November 18. Ukulele Strumming Workshop at Hale Ho'ike'ike at the Bailey House, Wailuku.

Six people (mostly new local residents) came to second workshop for the 2017-2018 season. (Read more).

Nine people came to the free educational program sponsored by the University of Hawaii Statewide Cultural Extension Program. (Read more).

129 people (including 80 children in 1st-5th grades) came to the free educational program sponsored by the University of Hawaii Statewide Cultural Extension Program. (Read more)
