Oahu Ukulele Festival in July

Sakuma Studios on Oahu

Oahu teacher

This coming Wednesday, June 24, I will take a private ukulele lesson to learn two songs we will be playing on stage at the 45th Annual Ukulele Festival on Oahu. Sponsored by Roy Sakuma Studios, this will be my first time joining his adult strummers group at the festival. I heard that we’ll be playing with Willie K on stage – how fun is that!

Last year I went to the festival with visiting cousins who were in town from California, and had a great time watching the entertainment, walking around to the various ukulele stores who had displays, and playing music spontaneously with festival attendees. See my photo gallery. This year I will take my ‘ukulele to the festival so I can be in it.
