2014 Trio Upcountry

Upcountry Fair

The Maui Ukulele Jazz Trio performed immediately following the Maui Ukulele Pops Band at the 34th Annual Upcountry Fair on Sunday 8 June 2014. We remained dressed in our Band informal attire appropriate for the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) setting which made it easy to stay on stage after our 45-minute set without changing costumes. The trio played 13 songs from a variety of musical genres in keeping with the upbeat atmosphere.

Songs in the order they were played: Kupa Landing, Little Brown Gal, Wahine Ilikea, Under the Palm Tree, Princess Pupule, Kaula Ili, Ka Leo, Flying, Sweet Someone, Blues in the Night, Medley: Waimanalo Blues/Paniolo Country, To You Sweetheart Aloha, and Uwehi Ami and Slide.
