History Talks

Ahahui Kaahumanu

In 2006, I gave my first 5-minute oral history talk at monthly meetings of the Ahahui Ka’ahumanu, a royal benevolent society of Native Hawaiian women who honor Queen Ka’ahumanu and her legacy. In my role as historian, I later expanded to giving 1-hour PowerPoint presentations about Queen Kaahumanu outside of the Ahahui.
