Serenaders Return to Maui Marathon

Fans from Montana came to hear us play

Fans from Montana came to hear us play in 2015

The Hawaiian Serenaders are returning for our 8th year to perform at the 2016 Maui Marathon Health & Fitness Expo September 16-17 at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Kaanapali. This is the 46th Annual Maui Marathon, which is the oldest marathon west of the Rockies and the 7th most popular in the world. For the second year in a row, we will perform two days at the Expo (which we enjoy because we get to play in an air conditioned room instead of outside in the heat). The Heath & Fitness Expo is free and open to the public. It is the place for runners to purchase souvenirs, running apparel and accessories and more. Plus, it is one of the rare times that you can watch The Hawaiian Serenaders perform at a public (rather than private) venue.

Expo Hours:

Friday, September 16, Noon to 6:00 p.m. We perform 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 17, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. We perform 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon.

Last year was the first time we had fans that came specifically to watch us perform on stage. They live in Montana and watch our YouTube videos. While planning their Maui vacation, they googled to see if we were playing anywhere and voila – they showed up. Read more about last year’s experience.
